WILL IT LAND SAFELY

Airplanes

The aviation department shares little information to consumers about the condition of airplanes prior to departure to different cities, it would be nice to have this type of information made public to consumers so that a choice can be made to decide which flight if at all you would prefer to take based on service records and condition of the plane at time of take off.

Everything is always after the fact, I generally here pertinent information after a crash that talks about the details of the planes condition prior to crashing generally "always" after the fact, or you generally here about a recall that never took place or whatever the case may be, air planes should have a clean bill of health just like we can check "car max" we should be able to check "airplane max" since casualties are high and surviving is slim or none, in the event there is a plane crash.

Every time, I have to fly I pray that the plane makes it to its destination, I feel as though it is a "stroke of luck" when I choose the flight I want, For some it can be a booking to be killed, you just don't know what plane is going down, when you make those reservations. I feel anxiety when I'm in the air, and although we are giving instructions on how to use the emergency devices the odds of actually being able to put them into use is rare, although, many were able to validate the validity of the devices working with the incident recently involving the Hudson River airplaneemergency landing that went down due to birds, the flotation devices actually worked, yet the odds of getting such a skillful pilot is also rare. I'm sure there are pilots who can fly; however, the question is can most of the pilots think logically when facing a possible catastrophic crash.

Not every pilot makes a sound decision when flying; too bad we can’t interview the pilots. Information about pilots experience and hours of flying should be on "airplane max" also, I feel that there will be a better confidence level to consumers when making a decision about which plane to fly on, at least you have the opportunity to make a decision to choose who is and what the best plane for you to take is. I'm sure you here about consumers missing their flights and then that flight is no longer on radar, yet somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean instead, to them it is just pure luck that they missed the flight for various reasons, I've heard many individuals stories that experienced a near death plane incident.

Yet, individuals catch the next plane, merely feeling it was just not their time to go. My X husband always said if this is our fate then so be it? To me it’s an acceptance of death prior to departure, it is clear I prefer not to fly, yet statistically speaking flying is just as safe as any other means of transportation, it's just that you have no options when your above 30,000 feet in the air other than to come down, which may not be a happy landing.

With the economy being the way it is, the aviation industry is impacted as well, with many discounts and deals, the last thing they need is to provide a report of their planes condition although it will be helpful for Americans to determine the up keep of the airplanes and how often they are maintained, it may boost sales or build the confidence of Americans who otherwise prefer another method of flying if such information was readily available.

Nonetheless, flying is and always will be the quickest means of transportation when you want to get somewhere quickly, airplanes are amazing, my grandmother use to always tell me "she is not flying any were unless it is taking her to heaven," sounds like a plan to me. Enjoy your time in life and live it to fullest, and if flying is your thing then happy landing,

Check with your local aviation air lines if you have question about what plane you’re flying, hopefully you'll get an honest response
